Welcome to the WOTC Survey Recruiter Contest! As CPI recruiters, you play a vital role in ensuring that CPI receives the full benefit of the WOTC program!
WOTC is the acronym for Work Opportunity Tax Credit. So what exactly is the WOTC and why is it important? The WOTC was designed by the Federal Government to help businesses like CPI diversify their workforce by hiring veterans. The purpose of the program is really to help underrepresented individuals, which includes our veterans, gain employment.
Because you are at the front line when reaching out to all of our candidates, it’s up to you to communicate how truly important the WOTC program is!
So how does the contest work? The contest runs in parallel with the WOTC Survey Contest. The WOTC contest and the WOTC Survey Recruiter Contest both run July 24, 2017 to October 31, 2017.*
There are two ways to win the WOTC Survey Recruiter Contest:
- The CPI Recruiter who yields the most monies associated with the survey submissions will receive one full day off from work. (or)
- The CPI Recruiter who yields the largest amount of surveys completed will receive a full half day off from work.
The CPI Employee Support Representatives will track the progress of each CPI recruiter and report the results of the contest to the CPI management team. One winner from each category will be notified via and email by 6:00pm (EST) on November 3, 2017.
REMEMBER: The WOTC is an important program and it will continue to need the public’s support. Operated by the Federal Government, the WOTC could end as soon as 2019. So it’s extremely important that all U.S. businesses and citizen’s take advantage of the program. The more businesses and citizen’s use it, the greater likelihood that the government will extend the program. CPI is working to maximize the WOTC program with the goal of providing veterans with long term employment.
*THE WOTC SURVEY RECRUITER CONTEST WILL BE HELD ONCE A QUARTER. THE NEXT WOTC SURVEY CONTEST WILL BEGIN ON NOVEMBER 1, 2017 AND END ON JANUARY 28, 2018.
